FOSS (Friends of Stithians School)
FOSS (Friends of Stithians School) is a group of parents and staff who work together to raise funds for the school by organising and running a variety of events throughout the year.
The funds raised help support many areas of school life that benefit all pupils. Each year we contribute towards a range of activities and experiences including Reception welcome picnic, Year 6 leavers hoodies, Santa’s visit and gifts for the children, school discos and support towards the cost of school trips such as coach travel.
FOSS has also supported improvements within the school, including library refurbishments, play equipment and funding items such as class trophies. Our aim is to enhance the school experience for all pupils by providing opportunities, resources and experiences that go beyond the school’s core budget.

Fundraising Events A huge thank you to all parents, pupils, staff and community members for their ongoing support in helping FOSS raise funds for Stithians School. Throughout the year we organise a variety of fun and exciting events, including the annual Colour Run, the infamous teacher gunging, refreshments at school events, World Book Day competitions and Frozen Fridays. These activities not only raise money to support pupil enrichment but also bring our school community together. We couldn’t do it without our amazing volunteers—your time, energy and enthusiasm make it all possible!
