I have lived in Stithians for nearly 25 years. Our eldest son (now 27) started his education in Miss Foster's class! My job took us away from Cornwall, but I managed to relocate and we moved back to the village. Our twin boys have very fond memories of their time at Stithians.

Cleaner-in-charge & Lunchtime Supervisor

I started volunteering in 1995 when my daughter started Stithians school. In 2012, I started work as a meal time assistant and also took on the job as cleaning supervisor within the school. I really enjoy watching the children grow. When I am not in school, I really enjoy gardening and spending time with my grandchildren.

I started volunteering in reception during the early 1990s. I then started working for the school 27 years ago when I joined as a meal time assistant, going on to also become a cleaner. My family have always lived in the village, and when I am not working I really enjoy walking, reading and spending time outdoors.

Lunchtime Supervisor

I started as a volunteer listening to children read in 2005 and at the same time started work as a lunchtime supervisor. I really enjoy seeing the children over the years go through the school from Gunwalloe to Kynance and seeing the progress they make. Out of school, I enjoy reading and spending time with the family.
